The rule
Station announcements are dense, fast and full of numbers — and they are also formulaic, which is what makes them learnable. Four phrases carry almost all of them.

-zehn and -zig are the difference between platform 5 and platform 15, and they arrive at the END of the word. Listen past the first syllable.
